The country registered 549 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, February 20, 239 on Sunday, February 21, and 208 cases today, Monday, February 22, reaching a total of 202,674 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Of these three days, 174 are by epidemiological link and 822 by laboratory.
In total we have 99,885 women and 102,789 men, of whom 177,659 are Costa Rican and 25,015 are foreigners.
By age we have: 170,550 adults, 15,343 older adults and 16,676 minors, 105 are under investigation.
172,280 recovered people were counted, of which 84,962 are women and 87,318 are men, by age we have: 146,769 adults, 11,038 older adults, 14,371 minors and 102 are under investigation.
268 people are hospitalized, 140 of them in intensive care with an age range of 15 to 92 years.
Eight unfortunate deaths were reported on Saturday, six were counted on Sunday and five deaths were recorded today Monday, reaching a total of 2,782 COVID-19-related deaths: 1,039 women and 1,743 men, with an age range of two to 101 years . By age there are 858 adults, 1,920 older adults and four minors.
