As of April 29, 713 cases confirmed by COVID-19 are registered, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 340 women and 373 men, of whom 642 are Costa Rican and 71 foreigners.
Positive cases are counted in 60 cantons of the seven provinces. By age we have: 638 adults, 38 seniors and 37 minors.
At this time 8,980 people have been discarded, 323 are registered as recovered with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 156 are women and 167 are men, by age we have: 292 adults, 17 older adults and 14 minors old. Recovered cases are counted in 52 cantons of the seven provinces.
There are six regrettable deaths, all men with an age range of 45 to 87 years.
16 people are hospitalized, of which eight of them are in intensive care with an age range of 44 to 75 years.
To date, a total of 13,117 samples have been processed.
The director of Health Surveillance, Rodrigo Marín, also reported that of the 320 samples taken yesterday at the Carlos María Ulloa nursing home, the result of 276 of them is already available, which have already given a negative result.
