Starting today to enter any market in San José, you must do so with a mask or mask.

Starting this Friday, June 26, the Municipality of San José announces the obligation to wear a mask or mask, to enter and stay in any of the Capital markets.

This measure applies to people who visit or work in the Central Market, Wholesale Market, Craft Market, Coca-Cola Market and the Registry Market.

In the same way, the population is urged to carry gel alcohol and apply it on their hands before entering any of the municipal markets.

On Tuesday June 23, the municipal administration ordered these measures for entry and stay in any of the municipal facilities.

Flea market closed

Likewise, the population is told that as of this Saturday, June 27, the “Flea Market” that takes place on Saturdays and Sundays in the Mercado de Mayoreo parking lot, is suspended indefinitely for sanitary reasons to prevent the spread of the Covid-19.

The municipal administration calls on the population to abide by these provisions, in order to stop the spread of this coronavirus in the country.
