The guided Farming Culture Foodie Tour in San Jose, is an educational experience where you will learn about Costa Rican agriculture, gastronomy, sustainability and nutrition.

One of the most promising young chefs of Costa Rica, Jose Pablo Gonzalez, will take you to his farm and will inspire you with fresh greens and veggies, while he will explain every detail about his farm and products. After the workshop, you will be able to sample the delicious goods for lunch at his restaurant located in the Escalante neighborhood, or you can choose to eat right at the farm. An authentic farm-to-table experience!

We will pick you up at your hotel or we can set a meeting point in San Jose. The tour takes up to 4 hours, approximately.


We will come to pick you at your hotel. (For Hotels Loccated inside the GAM)

  • 09:00: Pick up time.
  • 12:00: Lunch.
  • 14:00: Back to the hotel
