Country records death 19 of COVID-19 patient Costa Rica registered the death of a positive COVID-19 person tonight.

It is a male, young man, who arrived in shock at the San Juan de Dios Hospital, transferred by the Red Cross from a barracks in downtown San José. The patient underwent the COVID-19 post mortem test, giving a positive result. The cause of death is unknown.

The case is under investigation since the deceased did not carry documentation. The death is added to the 18 already registered, nine women and nine men with an age range of 26 to 89 years.
