The country registered 1,155 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, November 28, 851 cases on Sunday, November 29, 539 cases on Monday, November 30, and 534 today, Tuesday, December 1, reaching a total of 140,172 cases confirmed by COVID- 19. Of the cases registered on Saturday, 236 were by epidemiological link and 919 by laboratory. In the case of Sunday, 87 are by link and 764 by laboratory, on Monday 64 are by epidemiological link and 475 by laboratory. For this Tuesday 63 are by epidemiological link and 471 by laboratory.

In total we have 68,208 women and 71,964 men, of which 120,321 are Costa Rican and 19,851 are foreigners.

By age we have: 118,582 adults, 9,860 older adults and 11,630 minors, 100 are under investigation.

87,721 recovered persons are counted, of which 42,358 are women and 45,363 are men, by age we have: 75,217 adults, 5,021 older adults, 7,403 minors and 80 are under investigation.

571 people are hospitalized, 224 of them in intensive care with an age range of zero to 88 years.

On Saturday 10 unfortunate deaths were reported, on Sunday 15, on Monday there are 11 and today Tuesday there are five, reaching a total of 1,731 deaths related to COVID-19: 653 women and 1,078 men, with an age range of nine to 101 years. By age there are 560 adults, 1,169 older adults and two minors.
