After the analysis of the epidemiological situation carried out by the Ministry of Health by COVID-19, the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Attention (CNE) raised the orange alert to the Pavas district, which will begin to govern from Today at midnight, this was announced by the Minister of Health, Daniel Salas at a press conference on Tuesday.

“Pavas has a delicate situation, several factors that make us raise our alert: first, an increase in cases, while throughout the entire pandemic Pavas had registered 22 positives, in recent days it has added 42, on the other hand in our community surveillance operations we have captured 6 cases in the last two weeks. The above is added to the analysis of wastewater that we carried out the previous week with the collaboration of AyA, which shows us the presence of SARS-VOC-2 in the sewerage in the area, “said Health Minister Daniel Salas.

He added that “the situation warrants the commitment of inhabitants, commerce and institutions to prevent the spread of the virus. From the Ministry of Health we started operations in the area to monitor compliance with protocols by the business sector, while we recommend that the population of Pavas use a mask at all times, hand in hand with compliance with the distancing measures and hygiene. Pavas is perhaps the district where we have found the greatest danger of showing community transmission. ”
