First positive case Covid-19 in Río Cuarto de Alajuela eloped while the test result was

A man identified as Moisés Elías Reyes Oporta, a Nicaraguan national, is wanted by the authorities after he escaped while the Covid-19 test was under analysis.

The result was positive, but when they looked for him, he was no longer at home. His last known job was working in the fields on a farm in the area. The alert of his disappearance was raised by the authorities.

He would be the first positive Covid-19 case in Río Cuarto de Alajuela.

After about 4 hours without knowing its location, it was reported by residents of the Florence of San Carlos. According to the journalist Alla Jara the man was found more than 30 kilometers away from where he had been asked to save the result of his test and where he had his health notification.
