The National Symphony Orchestra this week begins its season of Christmas Concerts 2020, which will be offered virtually, through its social networks, with musical performances performed at the Melico Salazar Popular Theater, following the respective health protocols.

The musical shows will be offered on Fridays in December, starting this December 4, at 7:30 p.m., and can be seen through the Facebook of the National Symphony Orchestra and the Ministry of Culture and Youth.

A total of 55 musicians participate in the presentations, who will interpret Christmas season themes such as “The Nutcracker”, by Tchaikovsky; the first movement of “Pastoral”, by Beethoven; as well as “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson.

Through this concert, the National Symphony Orchestra intends to awaken the Christmas spirit in Costa Ricans, while maintaining closeness to the public, through free concerts through the Facebook platform.
