Ninety-one days after the sanitary closure, due to the national emergency of COVID-19, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC) will reopen its doors to the public, this Tuesday June 23 with two exhibitions, works by four artists, free admission and a rigorous sanitary protocol to receive a maximum capacity of 50% of its occupation.
Among the main changes that MADC will present at the reopening, its schedule stands out, which will now be from Tuesday to Friday, starting at 10 a.m. In addition, during this first phase, only rooms 1 and 1.1 will be open, where the exhibitions “This Way” and “Tensión” will be respectively.
In addition, the MADC informed that all visitors must disinfect their hands when entering, maintain a distance of 1.8 meters between each one and avoid crowds. In order to favor the conditions of ventilation and flow of people, the north door – next to the water tanks – will be open and will be the exit of MADC.
New MADC schedule
The MADC will be open from June 23 on its new schedule, from Tuesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. at 4:55 p.m. Visitors will be able to feel safe in a museum space that was adapted to comply with all health protocols, according to the institution.
