Under the slogan “stay home and connect”, the culture sector presented this Friday a series of activities that can be enjoyed online in real time this weekend.
The culture sector programmed a series of activities to enjoy this weekend, live and without leaving home, through the social networks of cinema, music, theater and virtual experiences in the various museums in Costa Rica.
With the motto “stay home and connect”, the governing body of the culture sector seeks to make available to citizens information on the various events that contribute to making the measures issued by the Ministry of Health more bearable due to the national emergency the country before the situation of the coronavirus COVID-19.
The Minister of Culture and Youth, Sylvie Durán, invited citizens to stay at home and follow the social networks of the different groups of theaters, cultural buildings and enjoy the varied menu that they will offer. Precisely, the dynamic includes visits to the Ibero-American museums from virtual experiences where they will be able to observe a wide collection of pieces and exhibitions, as well as discover more than 162 thousand documents online of historical events of the National Library.
Lovers of staged art will have access every Friday to the works of the Expressive Theater, live, through social networks and a children’s show on Sundays where the whole family will be able to taste the different programmed performances.
Finally, the Cinema in IV Impromptus will perform a theatrical improvisation show, where a failed awards ceremony must be saved by the presenters who will recreate the winning films from words or phrases spoken by the public.
