A series of videos and images published on social networks show how several subjects who appear to be police officers march together with uniformed police officers and ask to be handcuffed to appear detained and then “sow chaos”. The same subjects appear later in conflicting images with other policemen.

Security Minister Michael Soto has said that the infiltrator belonged to the Anti-Drug Unit and was investigating people within the demonstration who have been accused of drug trafficking, this responding to accusations made by several leaders of the National Rescue movement who had said the week before that the protests had been hijacked by drug trafficking.
