Josefina Municipality offers environmental courses free of charge

“Butterfly Attraction”, “Making Organic Fertilisers”, “Making Handmade Organic Soaps” as well as “Hydroponics and Hydroponic Vegetable Gardens” are the workshops offered by the Aula Abierta programme of the Municipality of San José this year.

These trainings are given free of charge in the facilities of the Urban Environmental Centre in Barrio Cuba, accepting seven people per group, in accordance with the protocols established by the Ministry of Health, which the Municipality of San José respects in order to avoid possible contagion of Covid 19.

This month, “Butterfly Attraction” will be held on 16 February, and “Organic Soap Making” on 23 February.

In March, however, the other courses will be held as follows: “Hydroponics and Hydroponic Vegetable Garden” on the 2nd, “Making Organic Fertilisers” on the 9th, and “Butterfly Attraction” on the 16th of March. On the other hand, “Elaboration of Handmade Organic Soaps” on the 23rd of the same month. All courses are held from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

The “Organic Soap Making” course has a small cost for the purchase of the materials required to make the cleaning tablets.
