Fifteenth death of a COVID-19 patient Costa Rica recorded this morning the fifteenth death of a COVID-19 patient.

This is a 48-year-old foreign woman who lived in the province of Heredia. The death occurred in the Hospital México where she had been hospitalized since June 22, entering intensive care a day later.

The woman was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 20. The deceased had diabetes and high blood pressure, both risk factors for COVID-19. This death adds to the 14 unfortunate deaths already registered: five women and nine men with an age range of 26 to 87 years.
