Covid Status May 27. 28 new cases. Nicaragua is the greatest threat to Costa Rica in the face of the pandemic.

As of May 27, 28 new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 984 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 87 years. There are 461 women and 523 men, of whom 804 are Costa Rican and 180 foreigners.

Positive cases are counted in 71 cantons. By age we have: 854 adults, 52 older adults and 78 minors.

There are 639 people recovered in 61 cantons, with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 311 are women and 328 are men, by age we have: 577 adults, 31 older adults and 31 minors. There are 10 regrettable deaths, one woman and nine men with an age range of 45 to 87 years.

12 people are hospitalized, two of them are in intensive care, one 55 and the other 64.

At this time, 16,368 people have been discarded and a total of 24,338 samples have been processed.
