Covid status. May 21th. 903 confirmed cases + 6 new cases.

As of May 21, six new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 903 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 87 years. There are 417 women and 486 men, of whom 745 are Costa Ricans and 158 foreigners.

The number of carriers who were not authorized to enter Costa Rica for having a positive result in the COVID-19 test, remains at 46.

Positive cases are counted in 68 cantons. By age we have: 802 adults, 46 older adults and 55 minors. There are 592 people recovered in 61 cantons, adding to the list of cantons with recovered cases Cañas y Bagaces, with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 286 are women and 306 are men, by age we have: 533 adults, 30 seniors and 29 minors.

At this moment 14,387 people have been discarded.

There are 10 regrettable deaths, one woman and nine men with an age range of 45 to 87 years. 12 people are hospitalized, three of them are in intensive care with an age range of 55 to 76 years.

To date, a total of 21,929 samples have been processed.
