Covid status. May 14 cases in defined clusters increase.

As of May 14, 15 new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 830 confirmed cases, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 380 women and 450 men, of whom 702 are Costa Rican and 128 foreigners.

Likewise, four new cases of transporters were registered who were not authorized to enter Costa Rica for having a positive result in the COVID-19 test, for a total of 23 transporters.

Positive cases are counted in 69 cantons, Guácimo being added to the list of cantons with positive cases by COVID-19. By age we have: 744 adults, 41 older adults and 45 minors.

There are 535 people recovered in 59 cantons, with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 260 are women and 275 are men, by age we have: 481 adults, 27 older adults and 27 minors.

At this time 12,064 people have been discarded. There are eight regrettable deaths, all men with an age range of 45 to 87 years. 17 people are hospitalized, four of them are in intensive care with an age range of 53 to 75 years.

To date, a total of 18,388 samples have been processed.
