As of May 12, three new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 804 confirmed cases, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 374 women and 430 men, of whom 691 are Costa Rican and 113 foreigners.

Likewise, there are 14 carriers who were not authorized to enter Costa Rica for having a positive result in the COVID-19 test.

Positive cases are counted in 68 cantons. By age we have: 720 adults, 41 older adults and 43 minors.

There are 520 people recovered in 59 cantons, with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 252 are women and 268 are men, by age we have: 467 adults, 27 older adults and 26 minors.

At this time 11,329 people have been discarded.

Seven regrettable deaths are recorded, all men with an age range of 45 to 87 years.

21 people are hospitalized, six of them are in intensive care with an age range of 53 to 75 years

To date, a total of 17,470 samples have been processed.
