As of June 24, 147 new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 2,515 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 94 years. There are 1,123 women and 1,392 men, of whom 1,822 are Costa Rican and 693 are foreigners.
Positive cases are counted in 78 cantons. By age we have: 1959 adults, 114 older adults and 371 minors and 71 are under investigation.
There are 1,210 people recovered in 72 cantons. The recovered cases have an age range of zero to 92 years, of which 575 are women and 635 are men, by age we have: 1008 adults, 54 older adults, 137 minors and 11 are under investigation.
There are 12 regrettable deaths, three women and nine men with an age range of 26 to 87 years.
30 people are hospitalized, five of them are in intensive care with an age range of 43 to 61 years.
At this time, 25,797 people have been discarded and a total of 36,765 samples have been processed.
The canton of Corredores and the towns of La Vega and Bonanza in the district of Florencia (San Carlos) are added to the orange alert, with differentiated vehicle restrictions and special regulation of establishments starting today at midnight.
