Monday, July 6, 2020. As of July 6, 245 new cases of COVID-19 are registered, for a total of 5,241 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 96 years. There are 2,230 women and 3,011 men, of whom 3705 are Costa Rican and 1,536 are foreigners.

Positive cases are recorded in 79 cantons. By age we have: 4,142 adults, 245 older adults and 765 minors, 89 are under investigation.

1766 people recovered in 77 cantons are registered. Adding San Isidro and Alvarado to the list of cantons with cases recovered by COVID-19. The recovered cases have an age range of zero to 94 years, of which 801 are women and 965 are men, by age we have: 1,388 adults, 76 older adults, 252 minors and 50 are under investigation.

23 regrettable deaths are recorded, ten women and 13 men with an age range of 26 to 92 years.

88 people are hospitalized, nine of them in intensive care with an age range of 40 to 76 years.
