As of July 30, the country registers 490 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 17,290 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 100 years. There are 7871 women and 9419 men, of whom 12 495 are Costa Rican and 4795 are foreigners.
Positive cases are counted in 81 cantons. By age we have: 14,121 adults, 1,070 seniors and 1,964 minors, 135 are under investigation.
4280 recovered people are registered in 79 cantons. The recovered cases have an age range of zero to 96 years, of which 1880 are women and 2400 are men, by age we have: 3422 adults, 189 older adults, 598 minors and 71 are under investigation.
352 people are hospitalized, 80 of them in intensive care with an age range of zero to 96 years.
For today, seven regrettable deaths are reported: four men, and three women, with an age range of 37 to 82 years, all from San José.
Among the most common risk factors presented by these people are: high blood pressure and diabetes. The deaths were recorded in the San Juan de Dios and Hospital México hospitals.
In total, 140 deaths are recorded: 53 women and 87 men, with an age range of 23 to 99 years.
