The country registered 1,149 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, December 12, 524 cases on Sunday, December 13, 549 cases on Monday, December 14, and 927 today, Tuesday, December 15, reaching a total of 154,096 cases confirmed by COVID- 19.
Of the cases registered on Saturday, 226 were by epidemiological link and 923 by laboratory. In the case of Sunday, 55 are by link and 469 by laboratory, on Monday 97 are by epidemiological link and 452 by laboratory. For this Tuesday, 224 are by epidemiological link and 703 by laboratory.
In total we have 75,208 women and 78,888 men, of whom 133,189 are Costa Rican and 20,907 are foreigners.
By age we have: 130,298 adults, 11,025 older adults and 12,671 minors, 102 are under investigation.
121,031 recovered persons are counted, of which 58,882 are women and 62,149 are men, by age we have: 103,448 adults, 7,291 older adults, 10,195 minors and 97 are under investigation.
610 people are hospitalized, 243 of them in intensive care with an age range of zero to 92 years.
On Saturday 18 unfortunate deaths were reported, on Sunday the 8th, on Monday there are 15 and today, Tuesday 20 deaths are added, reaching a total of 1,956 deaths related to COVID-19: 734 women and 1,222 men, with an age range of nine to 101 years. By age there are 621 adults, 1,333 older adults and two minors.
