On May 13, eleven new cases of COVID-19 were registered, for a total of 815 confirmed cases, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 377 women and 438 men, of whom 695 are Costa Rican and 120 foreigners.
Likewise, there are five new cases of carriers that were not authorized to enter Costa Rica because they had a positive result in the COVID-19 test, for a total of 19 carriers.
Positive cases are counted in 68 cantons. By age we have: 730 adults, 41 older adults and 44 minors.
There are 527 people recovered in 59 cantons, with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 256 are women and 271 are men, by age we have: 473 adults, 27 older adults and 27 minors.
At this time 11,764 people have been discarded. There are seven regrettable deaths, all men with an age range of 45 to 87 years.
20 people are hospitalized, six of them are in intensive care with an age range of 53 to 75 years.
To date, a total of 18,040 samples have been processed.
