The country registered 929 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, October 18 and 632 cases today, Monday, October 19, reaching a total of 97,075 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Of the cases registered on Sunday, 114 were by epidemiological link and 815 by laboratory. In the case of Monday, 100 are by epidemiological link and 532 by laboratory.
In total we have 46,665 women and 50,410 men, of which 81,027 are Costa Ricans and 16,048 are foreigners.
By age we have: 82,393 adults, 6,627 older adults and 7,969 minors, 86 are under investigation.
59,580 recovered people were counted, of which 28,563 are women and 31,017 are men, by age we have: 51,054 adults, 3,375 older adults, 5,080 minors and 71 are under investigation.
551 people are hospitalized, 214 of them in intensive care with an age range of one to 91 years.
On Sunday 11 unfortunate deaths were reported and today 10 are reported, reaching a total of 1,204 deaths related to COVID-19: 458 women and 746 men, with an age range of nine to 100 years. By age there are 402 adults, 800 older adults and two minors.
