Costa Rica begins applications of second doses of the vaccine against Covid19

Twenty-one days have passed since the first vaccination against the virus caused by SARS-CoV-2; Therefore this Thursday a total of 55 Costa Ricans receive their second dose of the drug.

At the Hogar Propam Foundation for older adults (PROPAM), where the vaccination process began last Thursday, December 24, 35 elderly residents and their workers receive their second dose, as well as at the Specialized Center for Patient Care with COVID-19 (CEACO) 20 officials of different professional profiles: doctors, nurses, patient assistants, cleaning, laboratory and respiratory therapy.

On Christmas Eve, Mrs. Elizabeth Castillo Cervantes, 91, and Mr. Jorge De Ford Atmella, 72, were the ones who received the first dose of the vaccine at PROPAM, while at CEACO, the first vaccinated were the doctor. José Acuña Feoli and the nurse Tatiana Sancho Chacón.
