Change in alert levels. 6 Cantons go down to Yellow alert

After an epidemiological assessment of weeks 36 and 37 in the framework of the National Situation Room, the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Attention (CNE) allowed to make a readjustment in the alert condition of the cantons by identifying a decrease in the cantonal risk index in several of them, so that today there are 6 decreases in cantons from orange alert to yellow alert.

In contrast, five cantons went from yellow alert to orange alert due to an increase in their cases, such as Aserrí in San José, Zarcero in Alajuela, San Rafael and San Isidro in Heredia and Siquirres in Limón.

After the changes indicated, the cantons that are in orange alert condition are:
