After 7 months of the first official case, 1,004 deaths related to Covid19 are reported

7 months after the first case of COVID-19, and adding the 17 deaths registered in the last 24 hours, the country reaches 1,004 deaths related to COVID-19, it is about 381 women and 623 men, with an age range of 18 to 100 years. By age there are 331 adults and 673 older adults.

Of the 17 regrettable deaths recorded today, 10 are men, and seven are women, with an age range of 19 to 88 years. The 19-year-old death is about a man and a Heredia neighbor. He was admitted to the San Vicente de Paul Hospital. As a disease he presented obesity and diabetes.

As of October 6, the country registers 1,013 new cases of COVID-19, of which 240 are by epidemiological link and 773 by laboratory, for a total of 82,142 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 100 years. There are 39,333 women and 42,809 men, of which 67,652 are Costa Rican and 14,490 are foreigners.

By age we have: 69,791 adults, 5,530 older adults and 6,734 minors, 87 are under investigation.

There are 50,020 recovered people, of which 23,749 are women and 26,271 are men, by age we have: 42,767 adults, 2,822 older adults, 4,358 minors and 73 are under investigation.

574 people are hospitalized, 214 of them in intensive care with an age range of one to 89 years.
