With figures not present in Costa Rica during the Sars-Cov2 Coronavirus pandemic, Costa Rica records its historical maximum so far of infections and hospitalizations in a single day, taking the public health system to the absolute limit of its response capacity.
The country registered 2,434 new cases of COVID-19 today, Wednesday, April 28, reaching a total of 245,601 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Of the registered cases, 402 are by epidemiological link and 2,032 by laboratory.
202,215 recovered people were counted. 811 people are hospitalized, 351 of them in intensive care with an age range of zero to 92 years. On Wednesday, 16 regrettable deaths were reported.
