The former president of Costa Rica during the period 2010-2014 has been named a woman of the decade by the WEF Women’s Economic Forum. The organization connects communities and collaborators through conversations and forums, with the aim of promoting the global leadership of women, as well as entrepreneurship and economic freedom.
During her public career in Costa Rica Laura Chinchilla has been a Deputy, Minister of Security, Vice President and President of the Republic of Costa Rica. She is currently serving as Vice President of the Madrid Club who has extended a congratulation through her Twitter account.
