The country registered 1,422 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, November 18, 1,219 cases on Thursday, November 19, and 1,187 cases today, Friday, November 20, reaching a total of 129,418 cases confirmed by COVID-19.
Of the cases registered on Wednesday, 335 were by epidemiological link and 1087 by laboratory. In the case of Thursday, 282 are due to epidemiological link and 937 due to laboratory. For this Friday 269 are by epidemiological link and 918 by laboratory.
In total we have 62,733 women and 66,685 men, of whom 110,405 are Costa Rican and 19,013 are foreigners.
By age we have: 109,598 adults, 8,958 older adults and 10,763 minors, 99 are under investigation.
There are 79,372 recovered people, of which 38,327 are women and 41,045 are men, by age we have: 68,001 adults, 4,526 older adults, 6,766 minors and 79 are under investigation.
470 people are hospitalized, 217 of them in intensive care with an age range of one to 90 years.
On Wednesday, 10 regrettable deaths were reported, on Thursday there were 11 and today, Friday there are nine, reaching a total of 1,608 deaths related to COVID-19: 613 women and 995 men, with an age range of nine to 101 years. By age there are 516 adults, 1,090 older adults and two minors.
