As of October 13, the country registers 1,015 new cases of COVID-19, of which 314 are by epidemiological link and 701 by laboratory, for a total of 90,238 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 100 years. It involves 43,383 women and 46,855 men, of which 74,993 are Costa Rican and 15,245 are foreigners.
By age we have: 76,624 adults, 6,114 older adults and 7,414 minors, 86 are under investigation.
There are 53,670 recovered people, of which 25,605 are women and 28,065 are men, by age we have: 45,948 adults, 3,028 older adults, 4,623 minors and 71 are under investigation.
582 people are hospitalized, 201 of them in intensive care with an age range of one to 87 years.
For today 16 regrettable deaths are reported: eight men, and eight women, with an age range of 24 to 86 years.
In total, 1,124 deaths related to COVID-19 are counted: 419 women and 705 men, with an age range of 18 to 100 years. By age there are 375 adults and 749 older adults.
