As of September 22, the country registers 1,087 new cases of COVID-19, of which 219 are by epidemiological link and 868 by laboratory, for a total of 66,689 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 100 years. There are 31,688 women and 35,001 men, of whom 53,912 are Costa Rican and 12,777 are foreigners.
By age we have: 56,616 adults, 4,412 older adults and 5,541 minors, 120 are under investigation.
There are 25,706 recovered persons, of which 12,122 are women and 13,584 are men, by age we have: 21,843 adults, 1,343 older adults, 2,452 minors and 68 are under investigation
637 people are hospitalized, 260 of them in intensive care with an age range of one to 91 years.
For today 15 regrettable deaths are reported: eight men, and seven women, with an age range of 58 to 93 years.
In total, there are 760 deaths related to COVID-19: 290 women and 470 men, with an age range of 19 to 100 years. By age there are 244 adults and 516 older adults.
