As of September 3, the country registers 1,153 new cases of COVID-19, of which 240 are by epidemiological link and 913 by laboratory, for a total of 44,458 confirmed cases, with an age range of zero to 100 years. There are 20,851 women and 23,607 men, of whom 34,492 are Costa Rican and 9,966 are foreigners.
By age we have: 37,500 adults, 2,838 older adults and 3,936 minors, 184 are under investigation.
17,855 recovered persons are counted, of which 8,233 are women and 9,622 are men, by age we have: 14,960 adults, 940 older adults, 1,855 minors and 100 are under investigation.
63 people are hospitalized, 161 of them in intensive care with an age range of 24 to 83 years
For today seven unfortunate deaths are reported: five men, and two women, with an age range of 31 to 79 years.
In total, there are 460 deaths related to COVID-19: 176 women and 284 men, with an age range of 19 to 100 years. By age there are 161 adults and 299 older adults.
