Country registers 21 deaths of COVID-19 patients Monday, July 6, 2020. Last night, the country registered the death number 21 of a COVID-19 patient, an 81-year-old man from Costa Rica who lived abroad.
The death occurred in CEACO, where he had been hospitalized since June 30 in the intensive care unit, from Guanacaste.
The man was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 28. The deceased had diabetes, high blood pressure and had a history of skin cancer, all risk factors for COVID-19.
The death is added to the 20 regrettable deaths already registered: nine women and eleven men with an age range of 26 to 89 years.
