This was announced by the Minister of Health, Daniel Salas and the president of the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Attention (CNE), Alexander Solís, at a press conference this Wednesday, at noon.
“The analysis of the epidemiological situation carried out by the Ministry of Health allows us to modify the alerts established for the Cañas and Abangares areas, however, the call to these communities, and in general to the country, is the same. We are in a pandemic and the risk is permanent. We must be highly responsible in prevention measures, “said CNE President Alexander Solís.
Districts will have special regulation in establishments with sanitary operating permits, which may operate from Monday to Friday from 5:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m. And the weekends. The time restriction does not apply to supermarkets, pharmacies, grocery stores, suppliers and health services, as well as those establishments exceptionally enabled by the Ministry of Health.
Take into account that the routes excepted from differentiated vehicle restrictions are maintained and that they are subject to the vehicle restriction of Executive Decree number 42253-MOPT-S of March 24, 2020 are:

Inter-institutional operation in inspection of farms and agricultural companies.
From the northern area of Costa Rica, the Minister of Public Security, Government and Police, Michael Soto, reported on the operation being carried out in the region on an inter-institutional basis with the aim of inspecting the operation of the agricultural sector, under sanitary guidelines, labor and immigration, in the framework of the national emergency.
