This morning the death number 12 of a COVID-19 patient was recorded, it is a 64-year-old Costa Rican woman who lived in the province of San José.
The death occurred in the Mexico Hospital where she had been hospitalized for 70 days in the Intensive Care Unit.
The deceased, in addition to age, suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes and liver disease, all risk factors for COVID-19.
The woman tested positive for COVID-19 on March 24, after having made a trip abroad. Her test came back negative since May 13.
This death is added to the 11 regrettable deaths already registered: two women and nine men with an age range of 26 to 87 years.
