Seventh death from Covid19 in Costa Rica. Adult over 80 years

Tonight the seventh death of a COVID-19 patient was recorded at the Enrique Baltodano Briceño Hospital. This is an 80-year-old man, a foreigner, who lived in Alajuela.

The deceased, in addition to age, suffered from high blood pressure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), both risk factors for COVID-19.

He was diagnosed on Saturday, May 9 and admitted that same day to intensive care at the Liberia Hospital. This death is in addition to those already registered of six people, all men, with an age range of 45 to 87 years.
