As of April 28, 705 cases confirmed by COVID-19 are registered, with an age range of one to 87 years. There were 336 women and 369 men, of whom 636 are Costa Rican and 69 are foreigners.
Positive cases are counted in 60 cantons of the seven provinces, adding Abangares to the list of cantons with positive cases by COVID-19. By age we have: 632 adults, 38 seniors and 35 minors.
At this time 8,356 people have been discarded, 306 are registered as recovered with an age range of one to 86 years, of which 146 are women and 160 are men, by age we have: 278 adults, 15 older adults and 13 minors old. Recovered cases are counted in 51 cantons of the seven provinces.
There are six regrettable deaths, all men with an age range of 45 to 87 years.
16 people are hospitalized, of which eight of them are in intensive care with an age range of 49 to 76 years.
To date, a total of 12,729 samples have been processed.
