Health authorities reported that 33 cantons (of the 59 that have registered positive cases) already have people recovered from COVID-19. 97 are the individuals who have overcome the disease after obtaining negative results in two tests, 48 hours apart. Alajuela, the canton that reports the most recovered cases for a total of 27 people

As of this Saturday, April 18, there are 655 cases confirmed by COVID-19, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 314 women and 341 men, of whom 600 are Costa Rican and 55 are foreigners.

Positive cases are recorded in 59 cantons of the seven provinces. By age we have: 594 adults, 31 seniors and 30 minors.

At this time, 7,095 people have been discarded and four unfortunate deaths are recorded, two 87-year-old men, a 45-year-old man and an 84-year-old man.

16 people are hospitalized, 10 of them are in intensive care with an age range of 44 to 75 years.

To date, a total of 10,138 samples have been processed.
