Health authorities report that as of today there are 649 cases confirmed by COVID-19, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 312 women and 337 men, of whom 595 are Costa Rican and 54 foreigners.
Positive cases are recorded in 59 cantons of the seven provinces. By age we have: 588 adults, 31 older adults and 30 minors.
At this time 6,874 people have been discarded, of which 88 people have recovered and belong to 32 cantons of the seven provinces, with Alajuela being the canton that reports the most recovered cases for a total of 21 people.
There are four regrettable deaths, two 87-year-old men, a 45-year-old man and an 84-year-old man.
15 people are hospitalized, 10 of them are in intensive care with an age range of 44 to 75 years.
To date, a total of 9,752 samples have been processed.
