Covid-19 general Progress

These are the restriction measures that run from today until April 30.

In order to flatten the contagion curve in the national territory by COVID-19 and mitigate its collateral effects, the Government of the Republic announces the new restriction measures that will govern from April 13 to 30.

In the press conference this Saturday, the details of the guidelines that will govern during the week, as well as on weekends, were disclosed.

From Monday to Friday.

-Day restriction will be from 5:00 a.m. at 7:00 p.m. will apply for plates throughout the country, except for the list of exceptions. (See at the end of the document)

-These will not circulate during these hours:

  • Monday: 1 and 2
  • Tuesday: 3 and 4
  • Wednesday: 5 and 6
  • Thursday: 7 and 8
  • Friday: 9 and 0

-Full night restriction from 7:00 p.m. at 5:00 a.m., except for the list of exceptions.

-Regular public transport -without people standing- will operate from 4:00 a.m. at 11:00 p.m.

-Establishments with operating permits that serve the public:

  • They can only operate from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a capacity of 50%.
  • Self-service food and food service subject to vehicle restriction and at 5 a.m. at 7:00 p.m.
  • 24 hours home service will work

Weekends

-Total vehicle restriction, only with access to supermarkets, suppliers, grocery stores, pharmacies and health centers from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm.

– During this time, the following cannot circulate:

  • Saturday: 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8
  • Sunday: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9

-Regular public transport -without people standing- will operate from 4:00 a.m. at 11:00 p.m.

-Establishments with operating permits that serve the public:

  • They must close on weekends.
  • Self-service food and food service subject to vehicle restriction and at 5 a.m. at 7:00 p.m.
  • 24 hours home service will work.
  • The Ministry of Health will establish by resolution the exceptions of establishments that may operate during the restricted hours.

Permanent measures.

-The bars, clubs, theaters and cinemas are closed completely.

-Taxis circulate 24 hours.

-The circulation of special bus services, minibuses and student vans, tourism and occasional will not be allowed. (Regulated by the CTP).

-Enable special transport of workers.

-The ferry service will only operate two services a day.

-The closure of international transport of people by land is maintained, only the entry of goods and cargo is allowed.

-Public institutions will continue with the basic plan of 20% of essential services, except for all the officials required to attend to the emergency. The teleworking modality should be maximized. Only essential personnel must attend the continuation of essential tasks.

  • All public servants who are over 65 years of age or have risk factors must be guaranteed the application of teleworking measures, use of accumulated vacations or advancement of vacations, so that they do not attend the centers of job.

– The current immigration restrictions are maintained

-School course will continue suspended.

– Take into account that the Ministry of Health maintains the temporary administrative measures in force for the attention of activities of mass concentration due to the health alert by COVID-19.
