This Wednesday, April 8, it registers 502 cases confirmed by COVID-19, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 243 women and 259 men, of whom 468 are Costa Rican and 34 foreigners.
Positive cases are registered in 56 cantons of the seven provinces. By age we have: 455 adults, 29 older adults and 18 minors.
At this moment 5533 people have been discarded, 29 people are registered as recovered and two unfortunate deaths are recorded.
In total there are 23 people hospitalized of which 15 of them are in intensive care with an age range of 35 to 85 years.
For its part, the Ministry of Public Security reported that during the daytime vehicle restriction on Tuesday, the authorities carried out a total of 316 parts for violating the provision of the Ministry of Health and fined 796 drivers for other cases, in addition one person was surprised driving while intoxicated.
In the afternoon-night of this Tuesday and early morning of this Wednesday, a total of 306 fines were made for violating the restriction, 696 drivers were penalized for other cases and four drunk drivers were fined.
