Covid-19 situation. April 4 432 Cases, 13 Recovered. 23 Hospitalized. Intensive care at 80% capacity

This Saturday, April 4, it registers 435 cases confirmed by COVID-19, with an age range of one to 87 years. There are 212 women and 223 men, of whom 404 are Costa Rican and 31 foreigners.

Positive cases are registered in 55 cantons of the seven provinces. By age we have: 392 adults, 28 older adults and 15 minors. At this time 4219 people have been discarded and 13 people are registered as recovered and two unfortunate deaths are recorded.

In total there are 25 people hospitalized of which 13 of them are in intensive care with an age range of 24 to 85 years.

The Ministry of Public Security reported a total of 785 parties for violating the sanitary vehicle restriction during the afternoon, this Friday night and Saturday morning; 4 of these drivers will have to pay an amount of ₡ 110 thousand, after the law that toughens penalties for contempt of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health was published in the newspaper La Gaceta during midnight.

Additionally, the authorities made 888 reports for other cases and 4 drunk drivers were caught.
