Number 1322 is activated and is in charge of answering queries about COVID-19

The 9-1-1 Emergency System, the Ministry of Health and the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Attention, seeking to provide more support to the population, set up telephone line 1322 for inquiries about COVID-19.

The line will operate 24 hours a day, with the aim of reducing the number of informative calls that 9-1-1 currently receives.

Officials from the ministries of: Health, Education, Public Safety, National Insurance Institute and 9-1-1 Emergency System will be in charge of answering calls. The officials were trained and prepared on COVID-19 and are under the supervision of specialized personnel from the Ministry of Health. Together 9-1-1 and 1322 currently total more than 40 job positions.
