Midday Theater joins the Alajuela Ciudad Palabra program  

The National Theater of Costa Rica is pleased to present at Teatro at Noon this Tuesday, March 10 at 12:10 pm. the International Festival of Storytellers Alajuela Ciudad Word with the participation of Cuban Pedro Mario López and Mexican Marconio Vázquez.

The International Festival of Storytellers Alajuela Ciudad Word is an artistic-cultural encounter that has become a tradition in our country, bringing together national and international storytellers since 2005, which has allowed a large number of children, young people and adults Enjoy the art of storytelling and learn stories from around the world.

About the artists.

Pedro Mario López Delgado, is a stage artist, oral narrator, playwright and poet. He has been recognized in different artistic and academic settings for the quality of his creative work and his contributions to the consolidation and development of oral narration, both from the artistic stage and from processes related to human formation. During the last 30 years he has represented Cuba and Colombia in international scenarios of great prestige and recognition in the artistic and cultural field.

For his achievements as an artist and cultural promoter he was recognized by the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, UNEAC, with the JUGLAR Honorary Award, in 2019.

Marconio Vázquez is a graduate of the degree in Hispanic Letters of the UNAM is a writer; oral narrator, musician and actor, decimist and improviser. He has won several literary story awards. He has specialized in narrative techniques in storytelling, novel and screenplay.

He has attended workshops and diplomas that lead to the development of techniques to adapt literary material to oral narration.

He has traveled to various countries of the world: Italy, Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Peru, Canada, E.U. Founder of the Company It is told, public storytellers, cultural company for the development of the art of storytelling.
