La Antigua Capitanía de Puntarenas alberga la exposición “San Lucas: historias y fragmentos”, en la que, a través de 25 fotografías documentales, se realiza un recorrido histórico, cultural, arqueológico y natural por la isla puntarenense.
With images of the geographical context and its buildings, this selection aims to bring the viewer closer to the island, making a tour of the site’s rich heritage, which housed a prison for more than 100 years.
The exhibition is produced by the Museo de Arte Costarricense and the Centro de Producción Artística y Cultural of the Ministerio de Cultura y Juventud, with support from the Office of the First Lady, the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism and the Costa Rican Institute of Pacific Ports.
During the exhibition, which runs until April 8, visitors will be offered from Monday to Friday and cruise days from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.
